Seeing it completely finished for the first time was excellent. We were able to witness almost a full year of planning come together and finally use the house as intended. What was particularly satisfying was that we had the opportunity to plan it from scratch. Each room possesses its unique personality and function. Seeing these aspects come to life, whether it’s watching TV, reading by the fire, enjoying a bottle of wine, or having a cup of coffee, was truly delightful after all the meticulous planning. I believe the execution was superb in tying it all together.

A few things stood out as particularly well-done. In this room, the addition of bookshelves was a brilliant touch. The flooring throughout the house, as well as the fireplace, were executed with precision. The introduction of a stone piece in the fireplace enhanced the overall appeal, transforming it into a captivating room. Another space worth mentioning is the dining room and the bar area. The design process for the bar had its variations, but witnessing the final result was truly gratifying. It has evolved into an inviting and functional entertaining space, ideal for both grand gatherings and daily dinners.

The renovation journey, from start to finish, was as expected in an older house—lots of surprises beneath floors, above ceilings, and within walls. Throughout the process, the Bradburn Group maintained control, displaying forthrightness and rationality throughout the renovation. Whenever unexpected situations arose, we engaged in open conversations to arrive at the best solution for us and our home at that point.

Among the various contractors we met, Jordan stood out due to his clear communication, straightforwardness, and transparency. These qualities resonated with us, and we truly valued their approach.

Opting to move out during the renovation was a wise decision. Given the extensive nature of the house’s transformation, residing here during the process would have been impractical. We found accommodations nearby, which allowed us to conveniently oversee the progress. This decision provided us with peace and tranquility during the daytime, stepping away from the chaos of construction.

Communication with the Bradburn Group was highly effective—always accessible and easy to interact with, demonstrating transparency throughout. The online portal proved exceptionally helpful. On days we couldn’t personally visit the site, the portal’s updates and images were invaluable in keeping us informed. Additionally, during major renovations, it’s not always safe to enter the premises. Therefore, having these resources available was truly beneficial.

We’re genuinely proud of our home now. Walking into a house designed to perfectly match our needs and lifestyle is truly gratifying. The collaboration with our contractor and designer led to a space that aligns with our vision. Each room is utilized according to our intentions, resulting in a happy and fulfilling experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Bradburn Group for renovations. Renovations can be challenging, with various things that could go awry. Therefore, having a team that is vigilant and maintains clear and transparent communication is crucial. Being back home now is an incredibly satisfying feeling.
